Job summary

Heartland Constructors Inc. is seeking a Journeyperson Pipefitter for the CNRL Albian turnaround near Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The assignment supports day and night shifts with camp accommodations and fly-in travel to Edmonton or Calgary, starting May 1st and ending May 13th, 2026. Responsibilities include laying out, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used for process fluids, plus measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, and testing to ensure leak-free operation.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal.
• Valid apprenticeship completed.
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification.
• Knowledge of Confined Space requirements.
• Fall Protection training.
• Basic Rigging understanding.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems handling water, steam, chemicals, or fuel.
• Demonstrate knowledge of piping components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipes, valves, fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fitting issues.

Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Pipefitter’s to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at theCNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Albertafor the 2026 Spring Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as May 1st and lasting as late as May 13th.

Responsibilities:

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
