Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Pipefitter to join Heartland Constructors Inc. at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta, for a permanent maintenance role. This is a day shift on a 7 on/7 off rotation, with flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Accommodations are camp-based, and the project is managed by Graham. You will lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance with site requirements.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification or Interprovincial Red Seal required.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test completion required.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification preferred.
• Confined Space training required.
• Fall Protection training required.
• Basic Rigging training required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, or fuel.
• Demonstrate knowledge of piping components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipes, valves and fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Responsibilities:

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Position Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
