Jardeg is recruiting an Ironworker Foreperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. The temporary role supports day and night shifts with flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

The project runs from Oct 1 to Oct 26, with camp accommodations and the opportunity to work with industry leaders. Responsibilities include erecting scaffolding, cranes, derricks, and hoisting gear; assembling rigging to move heavy

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test clearance required.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification.
• H2S Alive certification.
• Confined Space certification.
• Fall Protection certification.
• Basic Rigging knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Erect and install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
• Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials.
• Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures.

Jardeg is recruiting Foreperson Structural Ironworkers’ to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as October 1st and lasting as late as October 26th.

Responsibilities

• Erect and Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
• Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures
• Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.

Position Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
• CSTS 09 or CSO
• H2S Alive
• Confined Space
