Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Laval, QC is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a warm and professional welcome. You will collect data for prescriptions, prepare medications, and help maintain an organized lab environment.

You should be curious, a team player, and friendly, with French language skills and a willingness to learn; 35+ hours per week with paid training and a competitive salary package offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a Pharmacy Technician Diploma (DEP) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.
