Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking a hospital/retail pharmacy support role in Saguenay. You will greet clients, gather necessary information for prescriptions, and prepare medications while ensuring client safety and satisfaction. Some tasks include preparing pillboxes and keeping the lab clean and organized.

Ideal candidates are curious, team-oriented, and empathetic, with a willingness to learn. A full paid training program is offered and hours are 35 per week or more.

Qualifications

• Must be curious and eager to learn.
• Be a team player with friendly demeanor.
• Past experience not required, DEP asset is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele, making them feel at ease with empathy and professionalism.
• Identify clientele needs by collecting necessary data for prescriptions.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential issues for clients.
• For some patients, prepare pillboxes.
• Maintain hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory to ensure smooth operations.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
