Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to be the first point of contact with clients, ensuring a warm and professional reception. You will gather data for prescriptions, assist in preparing meds, and contribute to pillbox preparation where needed.

Your role includes maintaining lab hygiene and collaborating with the team to provide excellent customer service, with training provided and the flexibility to accommodate part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as Pharmacy Technical Assistant is a strong asset.
• Full paid training is offered.
• Good communication and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele and make them feel at ease with your welcome, empathy, and professionalism.
• Identify clientele needs by collecting data for prescription preparation.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for clientele.
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes.
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory to facilitate its proper functioning.
