Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to greet clients warmly and provide professional service. You will collect data for prescriptions, assist in preparing medications, and help ensure accurate pillbox preparation when required.

You will work in a collaborative pharmacy environment, with paid training and flexible hours to support work-life balance in the Laurentides region.

• DEP in Pharmacy Technical Assistance is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with clients, making them feel welcome and respected.
• Identify client needs by collecting data for prescription preparation.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential issues for clients.
• For some prescriptions, prepare pillboxes.
• Maintain hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory to ensure smooth operation.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
• We offer full paid training.
