Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Magog is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant who will greet clients, identify needs, and assist with prescription data collection and preparation. You will ensure lab hygiene and support pillbox prep where required, contributing to a welcoming and efficient pharmacy environment.

Fluent French is required; training is provided to new staff. Flexible hours and competitive pay accompany a collaborative team setting within our local pharmacy network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare pillboxes for some prescriptions (PJC).

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
