Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Support role in the Laurentides region of Quebec. You will be the first point of contact for clients, using empathy and professionalism to set a welcoming tone. You will gather necessary data, help prepare prescriptions, and assist with pillbox preparation and lab organization.

Fluency in French is required, and candidates should be curious, team-oriented, and friendly. Flexible hours and a supportive team environment are offered in this role.

Qualifications

• Be the first contact with clients, making them feel at ease, with courtesy and professionalism.
• Identify client needs by gathering data for prescriptions.
• Prepare prescriptions and check for potential issues.
• For some orders, assist with pillboxes and related tasks.

• Support the pharmacy team with customer service and data collection for prescriptions.
• Assist during training and onboarding, ensuring compliance with standards.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
