Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to greet customers with warmth and professionalism, gather necessary data for prescriptions, and assist in preparing prescriptions with accuracy. The role includes preparing pillboxes for some patients and maintaining a clean, orderly laboratory environment.

Strong customer service and teamwork are essential, with a 35+ hour workweek and French language proficiency.

Qualifications

• DEP in Pharmacy Technical Assistance is an asset.
• Full paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with clientele, ensuring they feel at ease with your welcome, empathy and professionalism.
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting data for prescription preparation.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for clients.
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes.
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory to facilitate its proper functioning.
