Job summary

The Ottawa Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a temporary assignment until approximately June 19, 2027. The role will involve supporting purchasing, supply management, and clerical tasks within the hospital pharmacy, with shifts across days, evenings, and nights, including weekends.

Qualified candidates have a Pharmacy Technician diploma or Ontario certification, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills. English and French proficiency is preferred.

Basic Requirements

• Diploma in a Pharmacy Technician Program from a recognized College of Applied Arts and Technology OR certification as a Pharmacy Technician by the Ontario College of Pharmacists;
• Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications;

• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).
