Save-On-Foods in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will handle prescriptions, input patient data, and manage stock under the supervision of the pharmacist within a community-focused setting.

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or possess 2 years of dispensary experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. This role offers career growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualificações

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Ordering, receiving, and returning stock; expiry date checks; balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interactions and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Whatcom location in Abbotsford, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
