Save-On-Foods, a division of Pattison Food Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant for our Abbotsford location in British Columbia. The role will involve receiving prescriptions, entering patient data, and managing stock and inventory in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.

You will communicate billing details and allergies to the pharmacist, maintain accuracy, and follow company policies and procedures. Candidates with a pharmacy assistant program or 2 years of dispensary experience are encouraged to

Qualificações

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Receive written prescriptions and refill requests (written or verbal).
• Input all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Perform stock ordering, receiving, returns, expiry date checks, and inventory corrections.
• Adhere to merchandising programs, procedures, and company policies.
• Communicate allergy interactions and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Whatcom location in Abbotsford, BC.

You will be responsible for

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Compensation Details

$19.00 - $23.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
