Job summary

Pattison Food Group is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at our Country Club location in Nanaimo, BC. You will assist with prescriptions, data entry, stock management, and customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Requirements include completing a Pharmacy Assistant program or 2 years dispensary experience; strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Kroll software experience is a plus; inclusive team, benefits, and ongoing training available.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and let's get it done attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving prescriptions and fill requests, inputting patient and prescription data.
• Entering all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Ordering, receiving, returning stock; expiry checks and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, procedures and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interactions and billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Country Club location in Nanaimo, BC.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Compensation

Compensation Details: $19.00 - $23.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
