Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at our Westside Village location in Victoria, BC. You will input prescriptions, manage stock, and support the pharmacist while delivering friendly, patient-centered service. Ideal candidates have completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or 2 years dispensary experience, with strong communication skills.

Kroll experience is a plus. Benefits include weekly pay, pension eligibility, wellness program, and scholarship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing stock ordering, receiving, returning, expiry checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interactions and billing details to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Westside Village location in Victoria, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and 'let's get it done' attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
