Job summary

WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care in London, ON is seeking a Pediatric Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate in-home care under established care plans. You will support pediatric clients and their families, promoting safety, comfort, and independence while following individualized care routines.

The role requires a Monday–Friday schedule (14:45–16:45); candidates must be a graduate PSW, have pediatric experience, and hold a current BLS certificate plus a recent Vulnerable Sector

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified Personal Support Worker program.
• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the past 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide G/GJ tube care and management
• Maintain child's records and required documentation
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Observe and report on changes in child's condition to guardian and WeeCare
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
• Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian
• Respond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings
• Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidentsComplete all other tasks as assigned
