Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate in-home care for pediatric clients in London, Ontario. The role requires patience, reliability, and experience with pediatric care, including daily living assistance and safety monitoring.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 14:45–16:45. Candidates must complete a PSW program, hold a BLS certificate, and provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Check. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified Personal Support Worker program.
• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the past 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide G/GJ tube care and management.
• Maintain child's records and required documentation.
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living.
• Observe and report changes in child's condition to guardian and WeeCare.
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids.
• Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities.
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian.
• Respond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings.
• Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidents.
• Complete all other tasks as assigned.
