• High school graduate or equivalent certificate.
• Successful completion of Personal Support Worker certification.
• At least ONE YEAR experience as a Caregiver (in homes or facilities).
• Achieves a passing grade on a PSW competency exam.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Screening.
• Proof of clear TB Test.
• Proof of Double Covid-19 Vaccination Required.
• Availability to work daytime hours between 9:30am and 5:00pm weekdays and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
