We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a 58-year-old gentleman living in a beautiful waterfront home in Picton, Ontario. He was recently placed on the liver transplant list due to end-stage liver disease and requires support while managing his condition. He uses a walker due to mobility challenges from bone-on-bone issues in both knees and no longer drives. He's capable and knows his limits, but benefits from having an extra set of eyes and hands around. He enjoys conversation and connecting with people.
Two visits per week (Tuesdays and Fridays) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The morning timeframe works best as he has more energy earlier in the day. Consistency is important as his spouse also cares for her mother in Kingston and needs reliable support to manage both responsibilities.
The home is located at the far eastern end of Prince Edward County with beautiful water views. It's a peaceful, single-level living environment with bathroom access on the main floor.
