Job summary

Private household in Sutton West, ON seeks a dedicated Home Care Aide to provide daily bedside and personal care, assist with grooming, bathing, mobility, and accompany the client on walks.

You will plan meals, assist with dietary needs, perform light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, and provide companionship to support emotional well-being.

This full-time, on-site position offers 30 hours per week at $21 per hour, with start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months of direct home care or personal support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily bedside and personal care (grooming, bathing, hygiene, and mobility assistance).
• Administer prescribed medications as directed in the care plan.
• Assist the client with regular exercise routines, including accompanied daily walks.
• Offer patient and engaging companionship to maintain social and emotional well-being.
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals tailored to therapeutic diets and dietary restrictions.
• Assist with meal setup and feeding as required.
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitizing of care areas.
• Launder, mend, and organize clothing and household linens.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 30.00 hours / week

Salary: $21.00 / hour

Certifications

• Valid CPR Certificate
