DGA Careers is recruiting on behalf of a leading Ontario insurance brokerage for an experienced Personal Lines Manager to lead one of their core personal lines teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Personal Lines Insurance experience.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Active RIBO license is required; CIP or CAIB designation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and industry practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work from office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 20+ Personal Lines Account Managers across remote, hybrid, and in-office roles.
• Conduct monthly one-on-ones, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Run regular team meetings to align on changes, priorities, and results.
• Train and onboard new hires, assisting their ramp-up.
• Partner with senior management on technical and administrative matters.
• Ensure the team's work meets carrier and company guidelines and standards.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships across the team and with branch partners.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 20+ Personal Lines Account Managers across remote, hybrid, and in-office roles
• Conduct monthly one-on-ones, performance reviews, and quality/coaching reviews to support ongoing development
• Run regular team meetings to keep everyone aligned on changes, priorities, and results
• Train and onboard new hires, providing hands-on support as they rampup
• Partner with senior management on technical and administrative matters
• Ensure the team's work meets carrier and company guidelines and standards
• Build strong, trust-based relationships across the team and with branch partners

What You Bring

• 5+ years of Personal Lines Insurance experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory/management experience required
• Active RIBO license required; CIP or CAIB designation is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of insurance products, policies, and industry practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills (MS Office?
• Comfort working under pressure and leading a team with varying skill levels
• Familiarity with Power Broker, Applied Epic, or Compu-Quote is an asset
• Ability to work from the office 4 days per week with some flexibility
