Job summary

DGA Careers in Calgary, Alberta is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join its busy insurance brokerage team. You will manage and service a personal lines book, respond to client calls and emails, process policy changes and renewals, and review coverage to protect clients.

You bring proven personal lines brokerage experience, excellent organization and communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of personal lines brokerage experience.
  • Alberta Level 2 General Insurance Licence preferred.
  • Experience with personal lines client servicing and policy administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy book and respond to client inquiries promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a personal lines book of business.

Job description

A growing insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join its busy Calgary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing a personal lines book of business and working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will provide responsive day‑to‑day service while helping support a team managing a significant volume of business.

The organization will train on internal processes, but it is looking for someone who has already demonstrated success, accountability and a strong work ethic in a previous insurance role.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and service a personal lines book of business
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client calls and emails
  • Process policy changes, renewals and other client service requests
  • Review coverage and identify opportunities to better protect clients
  • Support retention and contribute to organic growth opportunities
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and internal team members
  • Manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
  • Maintain complete and accurate client records
  • Provide dependable support to colleagues managing large books of business
  • Deliver a positive and professional client experience
What You Bring
  • Previous personal lines insurance or brokerage experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of personal lines brokerage experience
  • Alberta Level 2 General Insurance Licence
  • Applied Epic experience
  • Experience managing or supporting a substantial personal lines book
