Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Personal Lines Broker to join their Listowel or Stratford, ON team. You will own an established Personal Lines book and deliver knowledgeable advice with a client-first approach.

The role focuses on Home, Auto and Property, with exposure to Commercial Lines and Farm insurance. This is a full-time, in-office position offering competitive salary, benefits, and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Personal Lines broking experience.
• Active RIBO license required.
• Experience servicing an established Personal Lines book.
• Strong understanding of Personal Lines products and coverages.
• Strong client relationships and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• EPIC experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an established Personal Lines book of business.
• Provide prompt and professional service to clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
• Handle Home, Auto, and Property insurance."
• Prepare and process quotes, new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Review underwriting information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Assess client risks and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients and insurance carriers.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Remarket Personal Lines policies when required.
• Take and submit new claim reports and provide appropriate follow-up.
• Monitor client accounts and resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation.
• Contribute to a collaborative, customer-first team environment.
• Have the opportunity to gain exposure to Commercial Lines and Farm insurance.

This is a great opportunity for a Personal Lines Broker who enjoys relationship management, hands-on account servicing, and providing thoughtful insurance solutions, while having the opportunity to broaden their experience into Commercial and Farm insurance.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a long-established insurance brokerage with a strong history of serving its local communities. They are looking for a Personal Lines Broker to join their team in either their Listowel or Stratford, ON office.

This is a service-focused opportunity where you will take ownership of an established Personal Lines book of business, providing knowledgeable advice and building strong, long-term relationships with clients.

The role will primarily focus on Personal Lines, including Home, Auto, and Property, with the opportunity to gain exposure to Commercial Lines and Farm insurance as well. The brokerage is open to both Level 2 brokers and strong Level 1 brokers who are looking to continue growing their careers.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Minimum1 year of Personal Lines broking experience
• ActiveRIBO license required
• Experience servicing an established Personal Lines book of business
• Strong understanding of Personal Lines insurance products and coverages
• Strong client relationship-building and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Proactive and solutions-oriented approach
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Applied EPIC experience is an asset, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• $45,000-$59,000 base salary, based on experience
