Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Abbotsford, BC is hiring a Personal Banking Associate Trainee to guide customers through financial needs, new accounts, investment advice and banking solutions. You will work with branch staff, promote digital banking and ensure accurate documentation in line with TD's conduct and ethics guidelines.

The role involves mobility within the assigned district, training, and the potential relocation to TD locations within the region after training completion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet.
• Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
• A self-starter with strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Strong communicator with customer experience skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advisory needs, service transactions and digital education.
• Guide customers to the right contact for solutions while handling confidential matters.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM and online banking trends.
• Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and report non-standard matters to management.
• Promote improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience and achieve operational excellence.
