Job summary

TD Canada Trust is hiring a Personal Banking Associate Trainee in Richmond to help customers with accounts, investments and banking needs. You will guide customers to the right staff, support transactions, and promote digital banking solutions while upholding TD's standards.

The role emphasizes customer relationships, proper documentation, and a path through mobility within the district. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus and training begins soon.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• IFC certification or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Post-secondary degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, branch software and internet.
• Knowledge of banking solutions to advise customers.
• Self-starter with strong administration, organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication to connect with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions and problem resolution.
• Understand customer needs and guide to the right contact for solutions while handling confidential matters.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM and online banking to build confidence in digital trends.
• Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and report issues to management.
• Suggest improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
• Complete business processes accurately and in line with regulations and TD Code of Conduct.
• Promote a positive, equitable work environment and participate in performance development.
