Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Maple Ridge is looking for a Personal Banking Associate Trainee to guide customers through accounts, investments, and banking solutions. You will refer complex questions to the right staff and help customers adopt digital banking.

You’ll engage customers in daily advice, support cash/non-cash transactions, and contribute to a positive branch environment. Mobility within the assigned district is required during training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• IFC or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and branch software.
• Knowledge of banking solutions to advise customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and issue resolution related to banking solutions.
• Understand customer needs and guide to the right contact for solutions while handling confidential matters.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking to build confidence in digital trends.
• Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions and report non-standard issues to management.
• Suggest improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
• Participate in timely completion of business processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with TD's conduct.
