Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee to guide customers to the right staff for financial queries, including new accounts and investment advice. You will help customers with banking solutions and build lasting relationships.

You’ll educate customers on digital banking, assist with transactions, and ensure compliance with TD’s Code of Conduct while participating in a mobility program within the assigned district.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent – within 90 days of start date.
• Post-Secondary degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and customer problem resolution related to banking solutions
• Understand customer needs and guide customers to the right contact person for appropriate solutions while handling confidential matters
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking to build confidence in digital banking
• Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions; resolve issues and report non-standard matters to management
• Recommend improvements to work practices and branch operations to enhance customer experience
• Participate in timely completion of business processes and procedures
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations and TD’s Code of Conduct and Ethics
• Promote team effectiveness and participate in performance development
