Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee for opportunities across Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Aurora, North York and Vaughan. In this role you will guide customers to the right solutions, open new accounts, discuss investments, and support branch staff with daily transactions.

You will build relationships, educate customers on digital banking, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to TD's conduct standards.

Qualifications

High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
IFC or equivalent – post-appointment within 6 months.
Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet.
Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
A self-starter who works independently in a dynamic environment.
A strong communicator with customer experience skills.

Responsibilities

Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs and transactions.
Guide customers to the right staff for solutions while handling confidential matters.
Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking.
Support frontline staff with transactions and report issues to management.
Suggest improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience.
Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
