Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee in Coquitlam, BC. You will guide customers to the right staff, promote digital banking usage, and support cash and non-cash transactions in a branch setting.

You will complete training with potential relocation within the assigned district. A mobility clause applies, and Korean language skills are noted as an asset. Provincial requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• IFC certification or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Post-secondary degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, branch software and internet.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and customer problem resolution related to banking solutions.
• Guide customers to the right contact person for appropriate solutions while maintaining confidentiality.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking to build confidence in digital trends.
• Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions; resolve issues and report non-standard matters to management.
• Suggest improvements to branch operations and processes to enhance customer experience and achieve operational excellence.
• Complete business processes and procedures accurately and on time.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics.
• Promote teamwork and share industry knowledge to achieve objectives.
