Westland Insurance Group Ltd. seeks a People & Performance Program Specialist for a hybrid role at a Surrey, BC Head Office.

You will lead and roll out employee programs, partnering with HR leadership to strengthen engagement and the workplace culture. You’ll analyze HR metrics, support program initiatives across engagement, total rewards, learning and development, and talent acquisition, and ensure policies align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Data-driven approach to analyzing HR metrics.
• Strong knowledge of provincial employment standards and employment law.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with strong project management.
• Proficiency in HR systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Support HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives while evaluating program effectiveness and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
• Analyze HR program data for insights to be shared with leaders.
• Prepare accurate and timely documentation related to HR programs.
• Develop initiatives promoting a positive workplace culture and work-life balance.
• Monitor DEI metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Partner with departments for seamless integration of HR programs.
• Assist in planning and executing HR initiatives across various areas including employee engagement, M&A, total rewards, learning & development, and talent acquisition.
• Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR program inquiries and processes.
