Job summary

Westland Insurance Group Ltd. in Surrey, BC, is seeking a People & Performance Advisor to support the Insurance Operations client group and corporate portfolio. This hybrid role collaborates with leaders on day-to-day people matters, annual programs, and business initiatives.

You will partner with the People Relations team, drive HR projects, and use data and trends to inform decisions. The role offers a competitive compensation range and development opportunities, with a commitment to learning

Qualifications

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Solid understanding of employment standards and related law.
Experience supporting client groups and HR programs.
Working toward professional HR certification (CPHR/CHRP).
Industry experience in retail, hospitality, or insurance is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with managers and employees to support engagement.
Provide dedicated People & Performance support to a client group and corporate partners.
Coach managers on change, attendance and performance issues.
Support annual HR programs, talent, engagement and workforce planning cycles.
Lead HRBP initiatives through research, coordination and implementation support.
Use HR data to identify opportunities and inform leadership decisions.
