Job summary

City Orthodontics is seeking a Pediatric Financial Coordinator for aPermanent Full-Time role across our five Edmonton locations in Alberta. You’ll coordinate insurance claims, communicate with families, and manage accounts receivable while supporting reception and scheduling tasks.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable traveling between clinics to support a friendly, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in reception or administrative work, preferably in a dental setting.
• Experience as a Dental Financial coordinator is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of insurance administration including filing and submitting claims, direct billing, and liaising with insurance companies by phone
• Communicate with patients and families regarding insurance coverage, fees, invoices and statements
• Manage accounts receivable and monitor production and collection
• Process payments including electronic submissions and close a balanced day
• Help with administrative tasks such as checking-in patients, booking appointments, etc. when needed
• Compile, print, scan and organize financial reports and statements
• Additional duties as required
