Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Halifax, NS is seeking a detail-driven Parts & Service Coordinator to join our Service team. You will deliver exceptional customer service, act as the primary liaison between customers, technicians and internal teams, and manage quotes, work orders and parts allocation to keep equipment running smoothly.

You will also handle warranty processing, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely repairs and service delivery in a busy branch

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with parts ordering, work orders, inventory and estimates.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with multitasking abilities.
• Self-starter with strong time management.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Experience in parts, service, or technician-support environment.
• A technical understanding of industrial equipment is a plus.
• Flexibility to support on-call schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and internal teams.
• Prepare and provide repair and service quotes.
• Create and manage work orders with accurate parts allocation.
• Order, allocate, and track parts to equipment and work orders.
• Monitor outstanding parts orders and follow up as required.
• Run daily reports to support service and parts operations.
• Submit and track warranty claims with proper records.
• Monitor and maintain parts inventory, rental equipment, and saleable goods.
• Oversee the repair process from intake to completion and coordinate with teams.
• Provide invoicing and warranty support with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate deliveries and arrange transportation for customer needs.
