Wajax Corporation in Dartmouth, NS seeks an organized Parts Desk Associate to process internal and external parts orders, support service techs, and deliver high‑level customer service.

You will handle purchase orders, quotes, and logistics, while maintaining accurate documentation and a clean, safe work area. Prior experience in heavy-duty truck parts is a plus and proficiency with MS Office is required.

Competenze

• Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant Trade Designation and/or enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program.
• 2 years of relevant work experience; heavy duty Truck parts/service industry is a plus.
• Experience with parts vendors, outsourcing and generating parts quotes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Mansioni

• Process day-to-day parts orders for internal and external customers, including entering, ordering and expediting purchase orders.
• Support service technicians in researching, sourcing, expediting and delivering parts requests to the work area.
• Interact with customers in person, by phone, or electronically, delivering strong service and salesmanship at the desk and front counter.
• Produce accurate, timely estimates and documentation for parts transactions.
• Assist warehouse staff with tracking or shipping to local and out-of-town customers and inter-branch locations.
• Initiate parts returns for new and warranty items and complete all required documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
