Job summary

Leavitt Machinery in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our team onsite. You will provide sales and technical support to Parts customers and the Service department, manage receiving, delivery, and inventory of parts and accessories, and help drive branch revenue.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in a related parts role, strong MS Office and ERP experience, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a related parts role.
• Journeyman certification in Automotive or Heavy Duty is an asset.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and ERP/parts software.
• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and detail orientation.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Selling parts products and providing excellent service to customers.
• Contributing to branch revenue and margin targets.
• Providing pricing and parts availability options for quotes.
• Following up on quotes and closing orders when possible.
• Providing Service Technicians with required parts.
• Overseeing inventory and requesting parts as needed.
• Supporting shipping/receiving of inbound/outbound orders.
• Collecting payments and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Processing credits/returns and recording sales transactions.

The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. As the Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to our Parts customers and the Service department, in addition to managing the receiving, delivery, and inventory of parts and accessories.

As a Parts Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Selling parts products and providing excellent service to customers
• Contributing to the achievement of branch revenue and margin targets
• Providing multiple solutions for pricing and parts availability for requested quotes
• Following up on outstanding quotes, working to close all possible orders
• Providing Service Technicians with required parts
• Overseeing inventory and requesting required parts
• Supporting with the shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound orders
• Collecting payment from customers and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Processing customer credits and returns efficientlyRecording all sales transactions and verifying receiving documents

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• At least three years of experience in a related parts role
• Automotive or Heavy Duty Journey person certification is an asset
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• ERP and parts organization software experience is strongly preferred
• A customer-oriented mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Confident self-starter with the ability to work effectively autonomously

The base pay range for this role is: $69,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Brampton, Ontario.
