Toromont Cat is seeking a Parts Counter Person to join our team. You will be the key customer contact, delivering superior service while advising and distributing parts.

The position operates on a remote site rotation schedule (14 days on, 14 days off) and is full-time and permanent. Competitive base salary ranges from $49,845 to $66,305 CAD per year, with potential bonuses as part of the total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Minimum post-secondary education required.
• 3+ years on heavy equipment and/or parts counter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily functions of parts operations: procure, order, backorders, core processing, picking and delivery to customers.
• Process email and phone orders and sell parts over the counter.
• Maintain inventory and assemble hydraulic hoses to Cat standards.
• Process core returns and warranty parts.

Compensation

$49,845.00 to $66,305.00

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Coordinate the daily functions of the parts operations, including procuring, ordering, backorders, core processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers
• Process email and phone orders as well as sell parts over the counter
• Ensure customers requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
• Maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory and assemble hydraulic hoses to the Cat standards
• Process all core returns and warranty parts

Must-haves for this role:

• Minimum post-secondary education
• 3 or more years on heavy equipment and/or parts counter experience
