Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Parts Counter Person to advise customers and distribute parts at our branch. The role is rotational and may operate at a remote site, with 14/14 rotations and 12‑hour days.

Base salary ranges from CAD 49,845 to CAD 62,305, with total rewards including bonuses where applicable. The ideal candidate has post-secondary education and 3+ years in a parts service role, plus DBS, SIS, Word and Excel proficiency.

• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role.
• Knowledge of DBS, SIS, Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives.
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions.
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner.
• Manage the daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties as well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers.
• Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings.
• Rotation 14/14, 12 hours/day.

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team! The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customerservice at our Branch as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts and consistently providing superior service.

Note: This position will be rotational as it is working at a remote site.

Compensation

$49,845.00 to $62,305.00

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.
