Job summary

Toromont Cat in Canada is seeking a Parts Counter person to actively support warehouse operations and customer interactions. You will provide product expertise, offer parts recommendations, and maintain timely communication with customers.

The role requires a minimum of post-secondary education and at least three years of experience in a parts service environment, with focus on accuracy and efficiency. On-site position in a leading Caterpillar dealership with comprehensive training and total

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Model safe, environmentally sound work behaviours and follow Health and Safety policies.
• Enhance customer experience by applying product knowledge and providing parts recommendations.
• Handle parts inquiries and correspondence by email and phone in a timely, courteous manner.
• Oversee daily parts operations including sourcing, procuring, ordering parts, backorders, credits, inventories, cores and warranties; build hydraulic hoses for internal and external customers.

We are looking for a Parts Counter person to join our team in Toronto. Your objective will be to actively participate in the support of the warehouse operations through various responsibilities.

Pay Type

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

$49,845 - $62,305

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times,in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyaltyby providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectivelyover the parts counter, throughemail and byphone in a timely and courteous manner
• Managethe daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring andordering parts, following up onbackorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warrantiesas well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers

Must-haves for this role:
