Job summary

Huron Tractor in Ontario is hiring a Parts Associate to source and sell parts and accessories to existing and prospective customers with exceptional service. You will generate quotes, fulfill orders, and assist customers post-sale with warranty or service needs.

Working with a supportive team, you will load deliveries, keep the retail floor inviting, and help manage parts inventory with accuracy. Flexibility for extended hours and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for success

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of parts experience.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with relationship-building ability.
• Knowledge of Agriculture and Equipment is an asset.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Ability to work flexible and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Source and sell parts and accessories to customers with exceptional service.
• Generate quotes and complete orders per customer requests.
• Assist customers post-sale with warranty or service needs.
• Answer and make sales calls as needed.
• Load and unload parts deliveries.
• Check load-related documents to ensure shipments are complete.

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Parts Manager and is responsible to:

• Source and sell parts andaccessories to existing and prospective customers through exceptional service.
• Generatequotes and complete orders as per customer requests.
• Assistcustomers post sale with any warranty and/or service needs.
• Answerand make sales calls as needed.
• Loadand unload parts deliveries.
• Checkload related documents to ensure shipments are complete and accurate.
• Maintainretail sales floor to meet dealership standards and ensure customersatisfaction.
• Takea pro-active approach to inventory control by assisting and/or reportingdiscrepancies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous experience in a parts position
• A high degree of product knowledge
• Theright mind set, customer service skills, and detail orientation are key to thisrole.
• Must be a team player with the ability to buildstrong relationships with customers and fellow co-workers.
• Knowledge of Agriculture and Equipment would be anasset.
• Must possess good written and strong verbalcommunication skills.
• Proficient in using computers and word processing/spreadsheetsoftware.
• Able to work flexible and extended hours whenneeded.

Wage Range

• $50,000-$58,000 per year
• Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications
• Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range
