Job summary

Huron Tractor Ltd. in Ontario is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist to source and sell parts, generate quotes, and support customers before and after sales. You will help load/unload deliveries, manage inventory, and respond to warranty or service needs.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a parts role, solid product knowledge, strong communication, and computer skills. Experience in agriculture is an asset; you’ll join a team that values service, growth, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a parts position
• Strong product knowledge of agricultural equipment preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with ability to build relationships with customers and coworkers
• Knowledge of Agriculture and Equipment is an asset
• Proficient with computers and office software

Responsibilities

• Source and sell parts and accessories to customers with exceptional service

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Parts Manager and is responsible to:

• Source and sell parts and accessories to existing and prospective customers through exceptional service.
• Generate quotes and complete orders as per customer requests.
• Assist customers post sale with any warranty and/or service needs.
• Answer and make sales calls as needed.
• Load and unload parts deliveries.
• Check load related documents to ensure shipments are complete and accurate.
• Maintain retail sales floor to meet dealership standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Take a pro-active approach to inventory control by assisting and/or reporting discrepancies.

Skills And Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous experience in a parts position
• A high degree of product knowledge
• The right mind set, customer service skills, and detail orientation are key to this role.
• Must be a team player with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and fellow co-workers.
• Knowledge of Agriculture and Equipment would be an asset.
• Must possess good written and strong verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using computers and word processing/spreadsheet software.
• Able to work flexible and extended hours when needed.

Wage Range

• $50,000-$58,000 per year
• Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications
• Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range
