Algonquin Students' Association is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to support onboarding, offboarding, and HR operations. You will help maintain BambooHR records, assist with benefits and training, and coordinate recruitment administration while ensuring confidentiality and high-quality HR support.

The role requires organizational excellence, strong communication, and a proactive approach, with a focus on accurate data, efficient workflows, and responsive service to staff and managers.

Qualifications

• Completed a diploma or certificate in Human Resources or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with HR software (HRIMS) and Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HRIMS forms and workflows.
• Assist with recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and candidate communications.
• Provide HR support across training, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR tasks.
• Produce HRIMS reports and help identify recurring data or workflow issues.
