Job summary

Specsavers North York is seeking a Part Time Retail Associate (Optical) to be the face of our optical team. You will guide customers through frame selections, lenses, and contact lenses, with full training provided.

Up to 24 hours per week, evenings and weekends required, in-store at 6464 Yonge St, North York, ON. Compensation is $18/hour, with benefits including paid vacation, birthday and volunteer days, eyewear discounts, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• No optical experience required; full training provided.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Friendly and confident demeanor with ability to provide product recommendations.
• Enthusiasm for learning about frames and lenses.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a friendly store environment.
• Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses and explain options.
• Explain offers, products, and services clearly to help informed choices.
• Perform pre-screening tests (retinal imaging, pressure checks, visual fields) with full training.
• Measure and adjust frames for a precise fit.
• Process orders for glasses and contact lenses.
• Schedule follow-up appointments to maintain customer care.
