Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Weekend Afternoon Concierge Security Guard in Toronto, offering part-time hours and a competitive hourly wage. You will engage with people, control access, patrol facilities, and respond to incidents while maintaining a welcoming security presence.

We provide GardaWorld Academy education opportunities, a uniform, and flexible shifts. This role requires Ontario security licensure and First Aid certification, with weekend availability a must.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• WSIB First aid certification.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, greet visitors and verify identification.
• Manage access control and visitor guidance.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks and report issues.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks related to security operations.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency services.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.

As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.
