Job summary

GardaWorld in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Concierge Security Guard with strong customer service. Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 23:00–06:00. Location: Hamilton area (L8R 3J3). Hourly wage $19.17 plus GardaWorld Academy education opportunities.

Full-time and part-time roles with a uniform provided. Responsibilities include access control, greeting visitors, patrolling, and reporting incidents. You’ll assist with first aid and coordinate with emergency teams, plus basic phone and computer tasks.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like greeting visitors, checking IDs, and guiding them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks as needed.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.

As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Schedule: Friday and Saturday 23:00-06:00
