Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Concierge Security Guard in Toronto (M5K 2A1) with a strong focus on customer service. You will manage access control, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants.

The role offers ongoing training through GardaWorld Academy, flexible shifts, and opportunities for career growth. Uniforms are provided and 24/7 availability is required on a casual rotation.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• WSIB approved First aid certification.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming visitors, checking IDs and guiding visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
