Job summary

The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years of experience, and a team of over 500. We are looking for experienced Painters to join our London/Sarnia team.

You will prepare surfaces for plastering, fill nicks and cuts, and perform drywall repairs with attention to quality and speed. Own tools are required; strong problem-solving on-site and off-site and ability to follow a regular task schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in painting or drywall prep.
• Own tools required; not supplied.
• Quality and speed are assessed.
• Able to problem solve on-site and off-site.
• Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule.

We are looking for experienced Painters to join our team in London/Sarnia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares surfaces to be plastered.
• Fills in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster.
• Repair walls with drywall
• Sand areas after each coat making drywall paint-ready
• Drywall Repairs, Taping and Plastering
• Drywall Installation is considered an asset
• Framing with Metal Studs considered an asset
