Job summary

The Byng Group in Windsor, Ontario is seeking painter/drywaller installers to join our growing team. You will paint walls, ceilings, doors and shelving in apartment units, prepare surfaces, repair drywall, and assist with installation tasks.

We value hands-on problem solving, a valid Ontario driver’s license, own tools, and a proven 3-year track record. This full-time on-site role offers competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus bonus opportunities and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as a painter and drywaller.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to problem solve on-site and off-site.
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, hallways, shelving in apartment units.
• Prepare surfaces to be plastered and repair drywall.
• Sand areas after each coat to make drywall paint-ready.
• Assist with drywall installation and framing as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES Paint walls, ceilings, doors, hallways, shelving in Apartment Units Prepares surfaces to be plastered Fills in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster Repair walls with drywall Sand areas after each coat making drywall paint-ready Drywall Repairs, Taping and Plastering Drywall Installation is considered an asset Framing with Metal Studs considered an asset

JOB REQUIREMENTS At least 3 years’ experience as a painter and drywaller Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean Driver’s Abstract Able to problem solve on-site and off-site Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule Own Tools Required.
