Job summary

The Byng Group is seeking a reliable handyman/contractor for multi-residential renovation projects in Toronto, ON. You will perform on-site installations, carpentry and finishing tasks to support upgrade and maintenance programs.

Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience, own tools, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and be comfortable working independently on site with precise schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as a contractor.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Able to problem solve on-site and off-site.
• Operate all tools required to complete work.
• Follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule.
• Own tools required (not supplied).

Responsibilities

• Install vanity cabinets.
• Install slab doors and sliding closet doors.
• Install baseboard and quarter round.
• Paint and drywall installation/repairs.
• Install closet shelves (cut to size on-site).
• Install laminate countertops.
• Install floors (vinyl, laminate, hardwood).
• Interior renovations as needed to support projects.
• Perform other duties to ensure project completion and site operations.

HANDYMAN
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation of Vanity Cabinets.


• Installation of Slab Doors and Sliding Closet Doors.


• Installation of Baseboard and quarter round.


• Painting and drywall install and repairs.


• Installation of Closet Shelves (to be cut to size on-site).


• Installation of Laminate Countertops.


• Installing of floors (vinyl, laminate hardwood).


• Additional skillset of interior renovations.


• Perform any other related duties as assigned to support project completion and overall site operations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Contractor


• Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean Driver’s Abstract


• Able to problem solve on-site and off-site


• Operate all tools required to complete work


• Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule


• Own Tools Required (They are not supplied)
