Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking talented outside sales professionals to sell residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers in Kingston, Ontario. You will cultivate relationships, promote products, and deliver world‑class service while leveraging exclusive sales tools and a performance‑driven compensation plan.

Applicants should have roofing materials sales experience, knowledge of exterior products and windows, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to contractor

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing material sales preferred.
• Knowledge of exterior, cladding (siding, Hardie, etc) and windows is preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and pass MVR/insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage contractor relationships.
• Utilize sales reports to identify opportunities in customer buying patterns.
• Make cold calls to prospective customers and schedule appointments.
• Present product lines and services and provide solutions for service concerns.
• Represent ABC Supply at roofing events and coordinate contractor activities.

At ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.Specific duties may include:Cultivating and managing customer relationshipsUtilizing sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patternsMaking cold calls to prospective customersFollowing sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customersFollowing up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern ariseProviding training to customers and their teams on various product lines and servicesAssisting customers in the credit application processConnecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessaryRepresent ABC Supply Co. at commercial roofing events and within industry associations.Coordinate and attend contractor events.Specific qualifications include:Previous experience with roofing material sales is strongly preferredKnowledge and experience with exterior, cladding (siding, Hardie etc) and windowsCollege degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferred but not requiredMust have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirementsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorSuperior time management and organization skillsABC Supply values hard work and dedication and rewards its associates with an excellent compensation package.
