Job summary

DMC Recruitment Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for technical building products in Calgary, Alberta. You will own an established territory, manage dealer and distributor relationships, and drive new business.

You’ll present complex products, deliver value to contractors, and maintain CRM activity while earning a base salary of 90,000 CAD plus uncapped commissions, a $800/month vehicle allowance, benefits, and professional development.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of outside sales within building materials or technical building products.
• Experience selling through dealer and distributor channels.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage an independent territory.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow an established territory
• Build relationships with building material dealers, lumberyards, gypsum dealers, and contractors
• Deliver product presentations and provide technical product support
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
• Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, and territory plans

What We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years of outside sales experience within building materials, construction products, or another technical building products industry
• Experience selling through dealer and distributor channels
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex products
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing an independent territory
